but you already knew that

That’s me, staring out the window
Thank you for visiting.
My name is Chris and I’m a former suburban Toronto kid now living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It’s a lovely little city perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, on Canada’s east coast. You should visit sometime.
I’m a web developer/administrator during the day. I’ve been known to read books – I’m currently reading You Are Not a Gadget: A Manifesto by Jaron Lanier – and listen to music. I try to run every now and then.
Electronic correspondance can be emailed to me. Like everyone else, I’m on twitter.
For those who are interested, all my photographs are recorded on film. The black and white film is developed and printed at home in my makeshift darkroom full of used equipment. The colour film is taken to a local lab to be processed. For the web, I scan the negatives. For the wall, I make wet chemistry silver-gelatin prints.
Photographic prints are generally available for purchase. Purchasing inquiries can be emailed to me.
You probably won’t believe this, but areaeleven has been a website since 1993. Currently it runs a custom theme on Wordpress and hosted by Media Temple.
I also use TypeKit to fiddle with the fonts. I’m using Le Monde Journal STD at the moment, it’s oh sooo lovely.
